Performance of 1100 Aluminum Sheet:
The 1100 aluminum is made of fresh aluminum ingot, Also called pure aluminum. Because the aluminum purity is up to 99%-99.7%. Since it does not contain other metal elements, it is a single production process and relatively inexpensive. This makes it be the most commonly used series in the normal industry. It has conductive, good thermal conductivity, which is very good and only after silver, copper, gold. Low density: The density of pure aluminum is 2.71KG/M3, 1/3 of that of iron.
AA 1100 is commercially pure aluminium. It is soft and ductile and has excellent workability. It is ideal for applications involving intricate forming because it work hardens more slowly than other alloys. It has the most weld ability of all aluminium sheet alloys using any method, but is non-heat treatable. It has an excellent resistance to corrosion and is commonly used in the chemical and food processing industries.
1100 aluminum sheet is the most commercially pure alloy of all the aluminum grades. It includes a 99% or greater content of aluminum compared to other aluminum alloys. The most common way to form 1100 aluminum sheet is cold working. However pure aluminum can be hot worked as well, but more frequently, aluminum is shaped by spinning, stamping and drawing, and none of them require the use of high heat.
