Properties of 5052 Aluminum Coil:
5052 alloy metal aluminum coil belongs to 5000 series metal aluminum alloy, which is an alloy made up of 2.5 percent magnesium and 0.25 percent chromium. It’s considered to have great workability and weldability. It has medium static and high fatigue strength. The corrosion resistance of this aluminum is very good, especially in marine environments. This metal has excellent thermal conductivity and low density, like other aluminum alloys. To harden aluminum 5052, cold working can be used. Heat treatment cannot be used to obtain higher alloy strength.

Applications of 5052 Aluminium Coil:
Since corrosion-resistant 5052 aluminum coil and 5052 aluminum coil provide a lightweight, high strength and attractive finish, it is perfectly suited for a wide range of marine applications including shipbuilding, fuel tank assembly and oil line manufacturing. Some of the other applications that benefit from the corrosion-resistant nature of 5052-h32 aluminium coil include:
1) Marine sheet metal parts.
2) The chemical oil storage device.
3) Electronic casing: notebook computers, televisions, air-conditioners, handheld devices, mobile phones, etc.
4) Automobile equipment: fuel tanks, air reservoir.
5) Shipping equipment: steering rooms, chimneys, decks, etc.
In addition to the above functions, it can also be specifically used to tread plate, boiler-making, containers, nameplates, road signs, architectural paneling, welded tubes, chemical industry, irrigation, desalination units, pressure vessels, rivets.
5052 H34 Aluminum Coil VS 5052 H32 Aluminum Coil:
1) The fatigue properties of this aluminum are excellent, with a limit of 115 MPa while in the H32 temper and 123 MPa while in the H34 temper. Compared to the other aluminum alloys, the 5052 grade of aluminum has midway alloying content and strength.
2) In slightly alkaline environments, 5052 alloys show a resistance level. Its resistance to marine environments is better than that of 5005 alloys, making it a more popular choice for marine applications.
Packaging of 5052 Aluminum Coil:
1. Plastic film and brown paper can be covered at customers’ need.
2. What’s more, wooden case or wooden pallet is adopted to protect products from damage during the delivery.
3. There are two kinds of packaging, which is eye to wall or eye to sky. Customers can choose either of them for their convenience.
4. Generally speaking, there are 2 tons in one package, and loading 18-22 tons in 1×20′ container, and 20-24 tons in 1×40′ container.
