What is 5182 Aluminum Strip?
5182 aluminium strip belongs to Al-Mg alloy, which is a wrought alloy type with good corrosion resistance, and its main component Mg content is up to 4%~5%.
5182 aluminum strip is similar to 5A02, but because the magnesium content is slightly higher than 5A02, and a small amount of silicon is added, the weldability is better than 5A02, and the 5182 aluminum strip is gas-welded and argon-arc. The welding performance of welding, spot welding and seam welding is very good, and there is no big difference in other performance.

Features of 5182 Aluminium Strip:

Applications of 5182 Aluminium Strip:
5182 Al-Mg-based alloy is the most widely used rust-proof aluminum. It is used in the manufacture of car door, hood, aircraft fuel tanks, oil pipes, tank car, oil tanks, and sheet metal parts for transportation vehicles and ships, ship side/bottom plate, deck, refrigeration equipment, instruments, street lamp brackets and rivets. Hardware, electrical enclosures, etc. And used for low load parts requiring high plasticity and good weldability in liquid or gaseous media, such as gasoline or lube oil conduits, various liquid containers and other small load parts made with deep drawing: the wire is used to make rivets.
